This virtual, 2-day SBIR/STTR training event features SBIR/STTR program managers across all 11 agencies. Join in on agency-focused presentations, panel discussions and open Q&A. Attendees will learn agencies’ mission and tips for creating a successful proposal, have an opportunity to ask live questions of all federal participants and be able to sign up for one-on-one meetings with select agencies.
Attendees can participate in open Q&A and have the chance to sign up for a one-on-one meeting with participating agencies in the weeks following the event.

Day 1 – Civilian Agencies

“From the Sources’ Mouth”, Day 1 kicks off with a presentation from SBA, reviewing the mission and goals of the SBIR/STTR program. Erick Page-Littleford, SBA Acting Director and Program Manager, of the SBIR/STTR programs, will provide a 30-minute presentation and then take 30 minutes of open Q&A with attendees. After that join in on 1-hour panel discussions featuring NSF, NIH, DOT, USDA, EPA, NOAA, ARPA-H and more!
Day 2 – The Department of Defense

“From the Sources’ Mouth”, Day 2 kicks off with a presentation from Matthew Williams, the Department of Defense Technology Portfolio Manager for the SBIR/STTR Program. He’ll review the goals and nuances of the DOD’s SBIR/STTR program and provide tips for successful submission. After that join in on 1-hour panel discussions featuring DARPA, DHS, DHA, NAVSEA, ARMY and more!
